The iFLO® Smart device connects to your Wi-Fi, identifies your geographic location, and receives weather feed from the weather API to determine the temperature and humidity in the location of your device. This happens upon set up and monitors the weather continuously for spikes in temperature and humidity.
Based upon this information, iFLO® sets up a customized dispense schedule to dispense approximately 6 oz of our proprietary formula every 2 weeks to ensure that your drain pan and drain line are clean and clear. Each 36 oz iFLO® cleaner cartridge will last from 3 to 6 months depending on your temperature and humidity.
iFLO® is the ONLY automated device that can put a cleaning solution directly into your drain pan. Unlike bleach, chlorine tablets, or vinegar which can corrode your A/C parts, the iFLO® cleaner solution is 100% safe and effective and is guaranteed to NEVER damage your A/C.

- The iFLO® app uses your iPhone® or Android® device to connect the iFLO® smart device to your Wi-Fi. Once connected, iFLO® geolocates and receives live weather updates to know when to dispense the iFLO® cleaning fluid based on your local temperature and humidity.
- The iFLO® app monitors your device, maintains a log, and notifies you every time your iFLO® dispenses the cleaning solution.
- The iFLO® app notifies you when the iFLO® cleaner cartridge is low and when you need to replace it with a new one.
- The iFLO® app can automatically order you a new cleaner cartridge one week before your cartridge is empty so you are always protected.
- The iFLO® app will authenticate the iFLO® cleaner cartridge by verifying the unique QR code for your iFLO® cleaner cartridge to turn the iFLO® device on.

How easy is it to install?
Installing iFLO® takes less than 5 minutes and is all shown in the easy-to-follow iFLO® app.
- Download the free iFLO® app.
- Locate your air handler, peel off the 3M® self-adhesive backing from the bracket and stick it on your air handler.
- Connect the silicone tube to either the open-access connector or tap the line and insert the drain pan saddle, insert the nozzle to direct the iFLO cleaner into the drain pan.
- Install the 4 AA batteries included in your kit and connect to your Wi-Fi.
- Then scan the bottle, insert the cartridge, and you’re done.

Why do my iFLO® device lights turn off after setup and installation?
Your device lights are most important during the setup and installation of your iFLO device. It is normal that they shut off after your device is setup and it does not mean there is an issue with your device.
After installation, the device lights function as a method of communication from your device to your app to the server.
A few examples of when they will illuminate; when getting ready for a dispense, if your battery is low or if you need a new bottle. Otherwise, they will remain in their battery-saving mode.
Can I connect iFLO® if my drain line is one-inch thick?

Yes iFLO will work for you if you have a one-inch pipe. The iFLO kit provides two different adaptors: an open and closed drain line adaptor.
The open drain line adaptor is a tiered plastic adaptor that will fit on a one-inch drain line.
The closed drain line adaptor can fit a one-inch drain line but will require extra force to snap in place. While this is the preferred method for installing iFLO, if you are working with a one-inch pipe we recommend testing this fitting before drilling into your drain line.

Why do I need the QR code on the iFLO® cleaner cartridge?
Every cartridge of iFLO® cleaning solution features a unique QR code that must be validated before you insert it into the device.
Our iFLO® cleaner cartridges are intended for one-time use and require a QR code for validation to ensure the cartridge's authenticity and contents. Attempting to use an unverified cartridge and solution will cause damage to your iFLO® device.

🟢 Green light
- Green light blinks slowly when a user is connected to the iFLO device.
- Green light will remain solid after successful communication to the iFLO server.
🔵 Blue light
- Blue light is blinks slowly when the iFLO device is in Wi-Fi pairing mode.
- Blue light will remain solid after a successful connection to Wi-FI
🟡 Yellow light
- Yellow light indicates battery level.
- When yellow light is blinking it indicates batteries are low and should be replaced
🔴 Red light
- Red light will remain solid when there is no bottle installed.
- Red light blinks rapidly when a valid bottle with no remaining dispenses is installed.
- Red light blinks slowly when an invalid bottle is installed into the iFLO device. i.e. you installed a bottle in the iFLO device prior to being validated in the app.

Yes, it is safe to drill into the PVC pipe using our iFLO® drill bit that is provided in the iFLO® kit. We have carefully designed this drill bit with a guide and collar to ensure you do not damage your AC drain line. Be sure to set your drill to a low-speed setting.

Yes, the mobile application is where you will have access to your device status and the dispensing schedule. Through the application, you will receive timely alerts, reminders, and device updates.

The plug on the side of the device will be used for future product offerings. Please do not attempt to plug anything into as it will cause damage to your iFLO® device.
What is the purpose of the drill hole on the iFLO® hanger?
What is the purpose of the drill hole on the iFLO® hanger?
This drill hole on the iFLO® hanger can be used in an instance where the tape on the back of the hanger may not work for you due to the configuration or location of your air handler. This drill hole allows you to mount your iFLO® to drywall or a wooden stud.
Note: If you do not have a wooden stud available to install the iFLO® you will need to use a drywall anchor to fasten the hanger.
The drill hole is also designed for commercial installation to allow mounting with a flat-head sheet metal screw directly to the air handler. This should only be done by an experienced HVAC technician.

Yes! iFLO is completely safe for your septic tank. In fact, it will benefit the bacteria in your septic tank as well as the bacteria in your AC drain pan and drain line.

2. When you open the app, you will first be asked to enter your phone number.
3. You will receive a verification code for the phone number you entered.
4. Enter the verification code.
a. You have the option to request another code if you don’t receive one shortly after entering your phone number.
b. Alternatively, you can press the back button if you have entered the phone number incorrectly.
5. Once you enter the verification you will be prompted to complete your profile which asks for your name and email address
6. After you fill out your information, click “accept terms and services".

Option A: Leaving the iFLO for the New Owner (Migration)
Use this option if the iFLO stays with the house.
- Open the App: Navigate to the specific Location you wish to transfer.
- Start Transfer: Tap the Transfer Icon and select Confirm Transfer.
- Recipient Info: Enter the New Owner’s mobile phone number.
- Completion: Once the new owner accepts the transfer in their iFLO app, they will have full control.
Note: Ensure you use the exact mobile number the new owner will use for their account to avoid delays.
Option B: Taking the iFLO with you (New Address)
Use this option if you are reinstalling your current device in a new home.
- Navigate to Locations: Open your app and go to the Locations menu.
- Reset Setup: Select the device and choose New Installation.
- Configure: Follow the guided setup steps. This allows the iFLO to sync to the new HVAC system and local environmental data (humidity/weather) at your new address.

To remove your cleaner cartridge from your iFLO® device follow the following steps:
- Remove your old iFLO® bottle by twisting in a counter-clockwise direction
- Discard old cartridge
- Grab your new cleaner cartridge and take off the cap
- Grab your phone and open the iFLO® app
- Click validate cleaner cartridge in the app
- Point your phone camera at the QR code printed on the bottle to scan QR code
- Confirm validation
- Insert new iFLO® bottle – twist clockwise and confirm it locks in and is secure

What is the difference between the iFLO® Extreme cartridge and the regular 36oz refill cartridge?
What is the difference between the iFLO® Extreme cartridge and the regular 36oz refill cartridge?
The 36oz iFLO Extreme and 36oz Drain Line Cleaner Refill are the same size bottle and contain the same amount of solution. The differences between these solutions are the chemical formulations and dispense cycles. The iFLO Extreme formula is a higher concentrated solution and requires less dispenses per cycle. The regular iFLO refill formula has different concentration level and requires to dispense more frequently to keep and maintain the Zoogloea from building up inside your drain line.

Zoogloea (also known as elephant snot) is a thick, slimy, sticky bacteria that forms in your AC drain line and drain pan.
